Shear Style Inc. first opened over 50 years ago in Ankeny, IA as Judy’s Hair Fashions and has since grown into one of Ankeny’s largest and most well-known family concept salons. Throughout the years many things have changed, however one thing remains the same; our commitment to providing our guests with dedicated and highly trained professionals who are committed to making them look and feel their absolute best.

*Cancellation/Late

While we do understand sometimes we run a bit late, please know that your stylist will make every effort to accommodate your appointment! However, your service may need to be adjusted or rescheduled.

We are thrilled you have chosen Shear Style for your beauty needs. We do kindly ask that if you need to cancel your appointment to provide us with 24-hour notice.  Our stylists are commission-based and we do need to protect their livelihood. If canceling is indeed inevitable, we reserve the right to charge the card on file 50% of the scheduled service value if we do not receive communication within the 24-hour time frame. No call/No show appointments will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
